In 2003, significant portfolio growth necessitated that InTown Suites seek new hotel software to address its evolving needs.  Already a Remco customer of seven years, InTown understood the company's reputation for industry leadership and quality software.  These factors, along with others, led to NiteVision becoming the ultimate hotel software solution for InTown.  InTown has since realized extraordinary overall benefits.  "There's a short learning curve for training, and it's intuitive for people who have never worked in a hotel," says Stephen Bell, Director of Technology at InTown.  "The NiteVision corporate database is one of the best tools we have.  It affords us the ability to access information across all properties in near real time, giving us more flexibility and allowing us to make operational adjustments when necessary."  (View .pdf)     

  

In the summer of 2007, La Quinta Inn & Suites partnered with industry-leader Remco Software in a chain-wide hotel software upgrade.  At the same time, all Level 1 IT support for LQ properties was outsourced to Remco's helpdesk.  "NiteVision was a key component in an overall initiative, which reduced IT costs by more than 50%," says Vivek Shaiva, CIO for LQ.  Remco continues to work closely with LaQuinta to enable the chain to engage in new business initiatives while keeping IT spending low.  "Remco is responsive, agile, and innovative, backed by a great management team," comments Shaiva.  La Quinta remains confident in their partnership for the future, as Remco continues to be "a true partner", according to Shaiva.  (View .pdf)
