Remco Completes PCI Validation

Remco Software has completed an independent Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA DSS) security audit of NiteVision 2009 Service Pack 1. The audit validates Remco’s adherence to the credit card security standard established by the Payment Cardholder Industry’s Security Standards Council (SSC). Validation of compliance to the standard is independent proof that Remco is developing software with quality security practices, and that credit card information processed through NiteVision is secure.

“Distributing secure applications to our partners enables hotels to provide confidence to their guests,” commented Mark Loyd, Remco’s President and Chief Technology Officer. “True customer service to guests is impossible without implementation of a secure payment application such as NiteVision.”

NiteVision 2009 is Remco’s industry-leading Property Management System which has built-in credit and debit card payment processing functionality. PA DSS has been validated for the upcoming Service Pack 1 version of NiteVision 2009, due to release later this summer.
